The first-person VR experience for Among Us is coming to PlayStation VR, Meta Quest 2, and Steam. There is no set release date, but this is a real thing.
During The Game Awards, Among Us VR was introduced, with a brief clip offering fans a taste of first-person gameplay. It’s similar to the original in that players have to perform tasks and find out which among them is the impostor but from a first-person perspective. Innersloth, the project’s developer, has the following to say about it:
“This new 3D experience will place you and our suspicious spacebeans in the heart of the Skeld, with all of the core mechanics of teamwork and betrayal you know and love. The VR edition will continue to support the multiplayer experience too, of course! Now you can really have an emergency meeting together.”
Of course, Among Us VR will not be compatible with the original version of the game. Innersloth, Robot Teddy, and Schell Games, the studio behind I Expect You To Die, are developing it in collaboration.
