According to a credible source, Apple Inc. is planning to unveil lots of new products in the second half of the year and early 2023.

It is predicted that there will be four new iPhone models among the next product releases. The forecast says that Apple would release new Apple Watch models, Macs with M2 and M3 CPUs, a mixed-reality headset, high-end iPads, updated AirPods Pro earphones, a new HomePod, and an enhanced Apple TV.

If Apple launches them all, that would be an exceptionally active product release schedule for Apple, if not unprecedented.

According to the source, the new iPhones will have a revised locked screen that works in tandem with the new always-on-display in the next iPhone 14 Pro models, similar to earlier rumors and the eventual release of iOS 16 on June 6. The functionality, which is likely to be identical to Apple Watch, will allow the Pro versions to display widgets that display weather, calendars, stock, and other info while keeping the screen at a low brightness and frame rate.

The iPhone 14 Pro will also include a better front-facing camera, a new rear-camera system with a 48-megapixel sensor, slimmer bezels, A16 CPUs, and a redesigned notch. The non-Pro variants are believed to have the same A15 processor as the iPhone 13, however the 5.4-inch model will be replaced by a 6.7-inch one.

All future iPhones are expected to use Lightning adapters for charging, although it is predicted that a USB-C switch is inevitable around 2023. The migration to USB-C is due to a rule approved earlier this month in the European Union forcing smartphone manufacturers to supply their handsets with USB-C by autumn 2024.

It is anticipated that Apple will introduce a lower-end iPad with an A14 CPU and 5G later this year, with a USB-C connection. Two additional iPad Pro versions with M2 CPUs, 11-inch and 12.9-inch, are also expected. Apple may possibly introduce iPads with larger screens, ranging from 14 to 15 inches, this year or next.

Macs with M2 processors are also anticipated before the end of the year. The planned range includes an M2 Mac mini and an M2 Pro Mac mini. We can also expect a 14-inch and 16-inch M2 Pro and M2 Max-based MacBook Pros, as well as an M2 Ultra and M2 Extreme-based Mac Pro.

Any discussion of future Apple goods must include the rumored mixed reality headset. The source says, the most recent internal version uses the M2 processor with 16 gigabytes of RAM.

In headset news, renowned Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo stated on Friday that the Apple headset will be “the most complicated product Apple has ever designed” and “a game-changer for the headset industry.”

According to Kuo, the headgear will now be introduced in January 2023 and launched later that year.
