WordPress.com is gaining its own AI writing assistance dubbed Jetpack AI, which is integrated into the content management system’s editor. Owners of WordPress blogs hosted elsewhere will still be able to use the tool via the Jetpack plugin. Jetpack, like any other generative AI tool, can generate content depending on the prompt users enter, whether it’s a standard article, a list, or a table. The assistant may also change the tone of the article based on the user’s preferences: it might seem instructive, upbeat, hilarious, or even caustic.
If the user prefers to compose their own content, they may still get assistance from Jetpack. They could have the technology produce a headline based on what they’d written, or they could have it automatically check their grammar and rectify any spelling errors. If they wish to add a translation, they may utilize Jetpack AI to swiftly translate it into any of the 12 accessible languages, including Spanish, French, and Korean. According to a credible source, Jetpack is free for all WordPress.com customers to utilize for the first 20 queries as a type of trial period. After that, customers would have to pay $10 each month to utilize the tool.
While Jetpack AI is particularly handy for WordPress users, it is only one of several AI-powered writing tools that have lately emerged. For instance, the Microsoft 365 Copilot may generate a proposal in Word based on spreadsheet data or adjust the tone of a written report. Google has recently added AI capabilities to its Workspace applications and offered Docs the ability to produce text depending on the topic stated on the page.
