WhatsApp, the Meta-owned messaging platform, is reportedly working on making design changes. It was said before that the latest beta version is going to remove the green color of the application and revamp some parts of the app in different areas. However, as per the most recent reports, the navigation bar, which includes the Status, Chats, and other tabs, will be relocated to the bottom of the platform. As a result of this, the Communities tab also would get relocated. In addition to this, the green tint from the application’s upper side is also removed.
The messaging platform also appears to be adding a profile icon at the top of the application by retaining the search bar and camera icon at the top. The logo and message button will be shifted but will continue to remain green in color. The company is also planning to add new chat filter options including All, Unread, Personal, and Business.WhatsApp is even going for a font change with this new redesign.
WhatsApp is trying to make things the same for the messaging platform on both Android and iOS. The WhatsApp redesign is currently in testing and there is no idea regarding when it will come into effect. With this redesign, WhatsApp intends to increase its functioning even if the reason for this new update remains unknown.
