LG plans to present two lifestyle TVs with unique designs at CES 2022, the LG StanbyME and the recently announced premium OLED Evo TV with motorized cover. What about the first one? LG StanbyME is a little wireless TV with a built-in battery that you can move about your house. The 27-inch monitor is positioned on a movable platform with hidden wheels, and its height may be adjusted to suit the task at hand. Its screen can also be swiveled and rotated to either portrait or landscape mode.

LG stated in its announcement that since it can be adjusted to fit your needs, you may use it in your kitchen when cooking, your bedroom, or on the sofa while lounging. And you can, unless you intend on staying up for hours binge-watching your favorite show Because the TV only lasts three hours before needing to be recharged.

Despite this limitation, you may use the StanbyME to watch any content you want using the apps that it supports, which include Netflix, YouTube, and Prime Video. You can also use it to mirror your Android or iOS phone’s screen and use NFC. The device features a retractable mobile cradle on top, allowing you to utilize it for video chats or online lessons. Furthermore, you can use it as a screen for your laptop or PC through a WiFi connection, USB, or HDMI.

The model will have a remote control for navigation, but it will also recognize touch and gesture inputs. LG also claims to have the unique US that is “tailored to the viewer’s personal viewing experience.” The company did not elaborate, but we’ll know out for sure at CES in January.
