This year, Amazon hasn’t stopped unveiling Alexa-powered smart home devices, and we don’t think they will anytime soon. The company has released a $69 Smart Air Quality Monitor that detects carbon monoxide, dust, humidity, temperature, and volatile organic compounds in your home. If the air quality is poor, Alexa will notify you via its mobile app or an Echo device. You won’t have to check the monitor to know when to open a window or switch on an air purifier.
At any time, you may ask Alexa about the air quality. Display-enabled devices, such as an Amazon Echo Show or your smartphone, will offer a thorough analysis of the findings. You’ll need to be patient. The Smart Air Quality Monitor is currently available for pre-order, although the first orders will not arrive until December. Nonetheless, if you like the Alexa environment and are concerned about the quality of your indoor air, the wait may be justified.
