Now, it comes up with another feature that helps users to link their accounts on WhatsApp Web using their phone numbers without scanning QR codes.As per the reports of WABetaInfo,which provides all the latest WhatsApp updates, the feature is named as “Link with phone number”.
People who benefits the most from this feature are those who are struggling with camera issues.In addition this, there is an 8-character pin set for using this feature and this adds another layer of security to chats.
This feature is now in testing mode and is available only for Android beta users. To use this feature if you are a beta user, install the latest version of WhatsApp beta, open WhatsApp web on your desktop, then select the new “Link with phone number” option.Enter the phone number. After that users will be prompted with an 8-character pin that they need to enter, open WhatsApp on the Android device and select the three dots in the upper right corner, click on the “Linked Devices” option, select the Link with phone number option and enter the code prompted on your desktop, WhatsApp will then log in to your desktop.
