Slack, the collaboration hub that connects millions of people from all over the world to connect, engage with the greatest workplace tools, and move their businesses ahead, has officially launched in India.

Several events and themed engagements in Bengaluru and Mumbai have been scheduled as part of the company’s grand launch for India.

It will begin on April 5th and 7th, 2022, respectively. Stewart Butterfield, CEO and Co-Founder of Slack, and Rahul Sharma, AVP and Country Manager of Slack India, will provide keynote addresses during the launches.

Stewart has spent more than 20 years as an entrepreneur, designer, and technology leader – typically all at the same time. Time Magazine named him one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World, and The Wall Street Journal awarded him Technology Innovator of the Year.

Meanwhile, Rahul is a technology industry executive with over 20 years of experience, with a strong history and track record of establishing and expanding businesses that offer high-impact results for SaaS firms.

The events will also include carefully curated panels of ecosystem leaders who will explore how they are reimagining digital-first work and will give their own thoughts on the future of work.

The speakers will talk about how they are approaching digital-first work in new ways. They will discuss how to break down silos, embrace flexibility, and automate work, as well as share best practices for connecting individuals across time zones, physical spaces, and even corporations.

Networking, live entertainment with a music band, cocktails, and dinner will also be part of the launch celebrations.
