Bandcamp has always offered a functional, if unfinished, mobile app for streaming the music purchased on its marketplace. However, you couldn’t queue albums and tracks until now. The good news is that Bandcamp has released a new update that addresses this flaw in its software and is available on the App Store and Google Play Store.

To queue a song or album, hit the heart icon at the bottom of the screen to go to your music library, then tap the album you wish to listen to. By pressing the appropriate button on the playback controls, you can queue the full album. Meanwhile, tap the three dots icon next to the song you wish to listen to to add it to your queue. You can also drag a song to a different position in the queue at any time to reorder what’s next.

Since Bandcamp’s app wasn’t utilized for streaming music by as many people as you may assume, it didn’t have a queueing option earlier. Bandcamp has grown in popularity and goodwill as a result of their support of musicians during the pandemic. While many of them had likely purchased music from Bandcamp before, at least some of them were new to the platform. And it’s understandable that both groups would want to listen to their collections on the fly.
