Unsubscribe unwanted emails with ease on the Gmail app for iOS!

It’s undeniably frustrating to constantly receive emails from apps or websites that you don’t want to use. These emails can make it difficult to unsubscribe in certain situations. Fortunately, this irritation is over for now. For iOS users, at least, it’s over because the Google Gmail app on iOS devices now offers an unsubscribe button. The unsubscribe option appears at the top of every email in the Gmail app now. This implies that all it takes to unsubscribe is to open the app or navigate to the bottom of the page. At the moment, it seems that this feature is limited to the iOS version.

Previously, unsubscribing required clicking the three-dot menu that remained at the top of the emails. Some emails don’t even have this option. Rather, they force users to go to the bottom and search for the unsubscribe button located on the sender’s page. Things are made simpler by the new functionality on the Gmail app for iOS. It only takes one tap for users to unsubscribe, relieving them from all that trouble. Not even scrolling is required. It resembles the web version of Gmail in which the unsubscribe option is located directly beneath the subject line of emails.

However, this isn’t the first time Google released a feature for iOS before Android. Before Android, iOS users were able to delete the previous 15 minutes of browser history via the Google app. Nevertheless, this feature was finally added to the Android app. And we expect the same to happen here too since this feature is really helpful. So hopefully, it will launch sooner.
